Stone Sculpture by Michael Dettman

Michael has a passion for the outdoors and draws inspiration from the designs of nature. He considers himself a “self-taught” artist and has been creating stone sculptures for over 20 years.   To him, it is not important to make a perfect replica of a subject, but rather to capture it’s essence in his own design, always considering the unique qualities of the medium he is working in.  Michael’s sculptures are in many private collections and, have been displayed in shows and galleries in Colorado, Arizona, and Washington.  For more information or additional pictures of pieces listed for sale, or to inquire about new sculptures or commissions, call or email us.
